George Schmilinsky: Founding Partner

Mr. George Schmilinsky is a Founding Partner of Tailor Research. Prior to Tailor Research, Mr. Schmilinsky was on the Executive Management Committee and Founding member for two prior successful financial services start-ups: Longbow Research and ThinkEquity, which grew to become leaders in the investment industry. At Longbow Research Mr. Schmilinsky was Chief Operating Officer, while at ThinkEquity he was the Chief Financial Officer.

Additionally, Mr. Schmilinsky was the Vice President of Finance at Thomas Weisel Partners, which went public in 2006. There, he reported into the Executive Committee. He also served as Controller of the Technology Department for Bank of America Securities.

Mr. Schmilinsky has an MBA from Columbia University, where he graduated with Honors and was a Beta Gamma Sigma scholar.
